Bibliоcraft was founded in 2010 in a tiny Edinburgh flat by two book-obsessed friends who believed independent bookshops deserved a digital home as beautiful as the books they sold.

What began as 200 hand-picked titles has grown into a curated collection of over 12,000 books — each chosen by readers, for readers. We work directly with publishers and independent authors to bring you stories you won't find on algorithm-driven shelves.

The Beginning

Two friends, 200 books, and a Shopify store. Bibliоcraft goes live from a spare bedroom.

2013

First 1,000 Orders

Hit our first thousand customers — all from word of mouth. The team grows to four people.

2017

Going Green

Launched our carbon-neutral packaging and planted 10,000 trees with our reforestation partner.
